Crosspointe International Fellowship Community
FRIDAYS AT 7:00 PM | LED BY JOHN AND WINDIE DICKINSON | GROUP MEETS IN THEIR HOME
A note from Windie:
“My ethnicity is Filipino. I was born in Philippines. In 2005 I came to the U.S. because I wanted to see the land of opportunity, but it wasn’t easy. I felt unwelcome, alone, and homesick. I finished college, raised my daughter, and took an oath to become a U.S Citizen
“Then I met my husband, John. My husband and I are blessed. We have everything we need now, and we are surrounded with family and friends. But something deep in our hearts is calling us to make a difference in our community.
“We thought of an idea to help international students. God put this idea in our hearts for one reason only, and that is that He wants us to share His love with people.
“Galatians 3:28 - There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.
“So here we are: two new leaders for the Crosspointe International Fellowship Community (CIFC). We are so proud and blessed to be part of this Crosspointe Small Group.
“CIFC is dedicated to provide assistance to exchange students. We are reaching out to ECU and Murray State College, and we will expand our outreach further. We offer fun activities, school outreaches, special holiday parties, and gatherings for summer fun. We also offer transportation assistance, study buddies, and all you can eat buffet during finals for students).
“But this group is not only for exchange students, or even just students. It is also for those who feel like they are alone, with no friends and family. So if you want to join our group and experience the full God’s blessings then visit us at facebook.com/CIFCAdaOK for more updates and information about our group. You can also email us at email@example.com to contact us, or attend one of our Friday game and popcorn nights at our home.”
The CIFC Small Group has already begun meeting and is welcoming new members.
